This is a picture that I took in Salvador, Brazil back in 1999. This really shows the contrast of the rich and poor and how close to each other you live. I have run into (not with my car) two Brazilians in Alaska in the past three days. The Millennium Falcon had better odds going through the asteroid field. It is funny because I have been thinking a lot about Brazil lately. I soooo want to go down there again to take some pictures. I have a good coffee table book in mind for it too.
